El 7 de Octubre del 2023 despegaba desde el complejo del Arenosillo, en Hueva, España, el Cohete MIURA I de la empresa PLD Space. Ser convertía en el primer cohete privado en lanzar desde Europa Continental. Su vuelo suborbital le permitió probar tecnologías que le permitirían a PLD saltar al desarrollo del MIURA 5.
 
Exploración Espacial fue el único media invitado a cubrir y fotografiar el lanzamiento.
